The Life and Passion Holy Great Martyr Eustathius Placidas

$1.99

St. Eustathius Placidas was a Roman general, who even as a pagan practiced virtue and charity to the poor. As a reward, God revealed Himself to St. Eustathius while he was hunting, and he became a Christian. Nonetheless, he was warned by God that he would suffer like the righteous Job. For a time, he lost everything, but later he was restored to his former glory, and won new victories for Rome. Victory led to his martyrdom, when he refused to be honored for his victory in a pagan temple.
